2025 Budget Conversations with Board Member Karla Griego

This is NOT a Thomas Jefferson High School sponsored event. This event is being shared to keep our community informed about events open to all.

Our students and their families are under threat. Board Member Karla Griego knows that in order to fight these threats LAUSD must empower communities. Karla has listened as students have raised their voices in their schools and communities have spoken out.  She is ready to stand up against attacks on immigrants, LGBTQIA people, on people of color, and people with disabilities. 

Board Member Karla Griego wants to keep listening and go further to ensure that community voices direct the LAUSD budget. To that end, the board member will be hosting an event at Trinity to engage families, youth and staff. At this event, BD 5 will be asking, in what ways would you like LAUSD to use its resources next school year? What seeds would YOU like to see grow to support your school and student?
